Permanent Citizens Council (CCP)
Structure: 35 Saint-Gilles residents Purpose: Foster active participation in municipal decision-making with concrete impact on daily life Role: Consultative with proposal and argumentation powers
Mandate:
- Duration: 2 years
- Commitment: 10 meetings spread over the mandate period
- Process: 3 Saturday debates per theme, recommendations transmitted to municipal council
Themes: 4 themes per mandate
- 2 chosen by the College of Mayor and Aldermen
- 2 by co-decision of the College and CCP
